D1's Scott Stallings qualifies for PGA Tour

Kurt Hester to do Live Video Chat with STACK on Tuesday

On Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. CDT, STACK Media will host another live video chat session on the Gatorade Performance Center with Kurt Hester, D1 Director of Training.

Via a live video stream with the Gatorade Performance Center, Kurt will be available to answer questions on strength and conditioning, speed, agility, preparation and nutrition. D1's Philip Rivers Doing Great Things with "Rivers of Hope"



Philip and Tiffany Rivers' foundation will be featured for 30 minutes on Fox 5 San Diego at 4:30pm on Sunday December 12th, following the Chiefs-Chargers game. Congrats to them on the fabulous work they are doing.

Cedric Thornton Becomes First 2011 D1 Combine Athlete

Cedric Thornton, a defensive tackle from Southern Arkansas, has arrived at D1 for Combine Training. Cedric, who lifted and worked on the turf with Kurt Hester today, is projected as a 4th Round pick by NFLDraftScout.com. Welcome to D1, Cedric!

Iron Bowl Bet Goes South for D1 Birmingham Co-Owner

Demeco Ryans, former Alabama player and a co-owner of D1 Birmingham, lost an Iron Bowl bet this past weekend to former Auburn player and Houston Texans RB, Ben Tate. Auburn came back from a 24-0 deficit in the first half to defeat Alabama 28-27. It was both the largest comeback in the history of Auburn football and the largest comeback ever allowed in Alabama football history. Tough loss for both Bama and Ryans!

Nets are up in D1 Columbus

For the first time in a D1 facility, nets have been added for lacrosse. They are getting good use up there and we fully expect to see some All-Americans. Check out this photo from a recent Lacrosse camp at D1 Columbus.
