Jacob Boone is D1 Little Rock's August Character Athlete of the Month. Jacob trains with Coach Ben and Coach Cedric in D1's Developmental Group (Ages 12-14).D1's August Word of the Month was PERSEVERANCE. Jacob has a great attitude and strives to PERSEVERE in all that he does. He never takes a play off because he understands the importance of working hard and getting better everyday. Jacob suffered a severe foot injury that required 12 stitches and he still showed up the next day, training hard as ever. Now, that's PERSEVERANCE!
