D1 Columbus athlete Jared Sullinger is really making a name for himself. He was named the Big Ten Player of the Week and the conference's Freshman of the Week. The Player of the Week honor was Sullinger's second this season, while he was awarded Freshman of the Week for the fourth time. Sullinger scored 40 points in Ohio States' win over IUPUI on Thursday, marking the first time since 1995 that a Big Ten player has scored 40 or more points in a game and the first time since 1944 that a Big Ten freshman has accomplished the feat. Looks like his offseason work at D1 has payed off.
