It has been said that success is what happens when hard work and dedication meet, so when the ASC Dragonflies '97 girl’s soccer team out of Central Arkansas approached D1 Little Rock about possible training options for the team, a winning formula was born. The Dragonflies, who have seen average success in the past, began training with D1 Little Rock Coach Ben Faires in July and have since become a force to be reckoned with on the field. This year the team won all state league games, the Presidents Cup, and has qualified for the Regional finals for the first time ever. Head Coach Gez Rogers said,"My thanks to D1, and especially to Ben. He's made them fitter, faster, stronger, and absolutely this translated into confidence and self-belief." Great work Dragonflies!
