D1 Knoxville Hosts Tournament of Wishes
D1 Knoxville was proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Tournament of Wishes for the 2nd year in a row. Proceeds from the Tournament of Wishes, which was held on Saturday, November 14, went to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee. 10% of the proceeds also went to benefit the West Hills Tennis Center Rescue of Knoxville. Make-A-Wish’s mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

D1 Knoxville Character Athlete of the Month
Abby Lowe is D1 Knoxville's October Character Athlete of the Month. She trains in D1's Developmental Group (Ages 12-14) with Coach Andrea. Abby has been training at D1 for 10 months, improving herself and becoming a great athlete. She displays the essence of ACCOUNTABILITY because not only does she show up and perform at D1 Knoxville, she has outstanding attendance at school while making exceptional grades. Congratulations Abby!
D1 Knoxville Athlete Wins Big
D1 Scholastic athlete Max Travis and his CBFO 10 year old football team finished their season as the Knox Metro Youth Football Champions of their Minor Pee Wee division! They played an undefeated Rule football team and came away with an 13-7 hard fought victory. Congratulations to Max and his teammates on a Championship Season!

Chad Marsh is D1 Chattanooga's October Character Athlete of the Month. Chad is 9 years old and goes to St. Nicholas School. His favorite sport is football and he trains in D1's Rookie Group (Ages 7-11) with Coach Rob. Chad has kept his commitment to D1. He holds himself ACCOUNTABLE to arriving on time and working extremely hard in every class. His dedication to pushing himself and others keeps everyone else in his class ACCOUNTABLE as well.

D1 Greenville Character Athlete of the Month
Austin Lambert is D1 Greenville's October Character Athlete of the Month. Dylan is a 13 year-old baseball player at Northwood Middle School and also plays multiple positions on the state champion Carolina Cannons. He trains in D1's Developmental Group (Ages 12-14). Austin is a true student-athlete who holds himself ACCOUNTABLE for his training and his school work. You can bet on Austin coming in at 3:30 with his backpack loaded down and challenging questions for parents and D1 staff. We can always count on him completing his homework and putting forth his best effort during his 5 PM workout. Congratulations Austin!

Faith Elder is D1 Little Rock's October Character Athlete of the Month. Faith is in D1's Rookie Group (Ages 7-11) and trains with Coach Cedric. Faith displays great leadership and holds herself and everyone around her ACCOUNTABLE. Coach Cedric feels she is the "Tim Tebow" of D1 Little Rock's Rookie program. Faith holds herself ACCOUNTABLE by showing up 4 times per week. She loves coming to the facility and gets better on every visit. Congratulations Faith!
