D1 Bham Hosting Advanced Concussion Training

D1 Birmingham and The Kevin Turner Foundation will be presenting the Sports Legacy Institute's Advanced Concussion Training (ACT) on Thursday, Sept. 8. This event will address the single most important issue facing contact-sport athletes today. Led by former WWE star and current leading brain injury expert, Chris Nowinski, this one-of-a-kind seminar will cover assessment, prevention, management and treatment of concussions, aiming to create a safer sports environment at all levels of play. The Advanced Concussion Training will be held at 7 p.m. at D1 Birmingham. Admission is free and open to the public.
