D1 Nashville Recruiting Night a Success
D1 Nashville had its College Recruiting Information Night last night and it went extremely well! Around 75 local high school athletes were in attendance and learned about NCAA recruiting rules, how to market themselves to college coaches, and how to best leverage their talents to get noticed. Several other Recruiting Nights at D1 locations are set to take place in the next few days. D1 Knoxville will host its Recruiting Night Tuesday Feb. 22, while D1 Greenville's will be Wednesday Feb. 23, and D1 Savannah's will be Thursday Feb. 24. D1 Columbus will host its event on March 14, D1 Cincinnati's will be March 15, and D1 Little Rock will have its Recruiting Night on April 5. All of the Recruiting Nights will be from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. local time. Make sure you attend your local D1 College Recruiting Information Night!

D1 Knoxville now offers Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. Instructed by Ben Harrison, black belt. Ben learned Gracie/Brazillian Jui-Jitsu from Master Luiz Palhares, 8th degree red and black belt under Rickson Gracie. Ben is also a 2nd degree black belt in both American Free Style Karate and Tae Kwon Do. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. with the 1st F.A.S.T. Company and 3BN 6 MAR. D1 Partners with Craig Hentrich's Legacy Kicking for Camps
D1 has partnered with former Tennessee Titan's kicker Craig Hentrich for punting and kicking camps in Knoxville, TN and Huntsville, AL. The Knoxville camp will take place April 16&17, while the Huntsville camp will be on April 30 and May 1. Camp instruction includes small group kicking instruction with Craig, one hour training instruction with a D1 trainer, and a one week pass to the D1 training facility. Now up to Robinson to keep Alabama Super Bowl Streak Alive
Former University of Alabama star Ramzee Robinson needs to win a Super Bowl to catch up with his former college teammates. Robinson has been training at D1 Huntsville and was recently signed by the Cleveland Browns. Ramzee's college teammate Charlie Peprah won the Super Bowl Sunday night with the Packers, Roman Harper won the big game last year with the Saints, and Anthony Madison played against Peprah in this year's Super Bowl and also won the 2009 championship with the Steelers.
