Walker Harris is a 10 year old boy who discovered his love of football during recess when he and his friends would organize scrimmage games. He now plays for the Wake Forest Titans Junior Pee Wee football team where his talent and work will hope to help him achieve the spot of quarterback. D1's John Jenkins Selected in First Round of NBA Draft
Congrats to former Vanderbilt guard John Jenkins, who was selected in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. John trained hard at D1 while preparing for the draft and deserves the great honor! Also congrats to former Ohio State forward Jared Sullinger, who was selected in the first round by the Boston Celtics. Jared trained at D1 Columbus following high school before heading to OSU.

Randall Cobb Experience at D1 Bowling Green
The former University of Kentucky standout and current Green Bay Packers receiver/returner was introduced Wednesday as a co-owner of D1 Sports Training’s Bowling Green location.
Cobb ran through drills Wednesday with facility members in four age groups. He takes the most enjoyment out of working with the younger athletes, he said.

Tebow Opens D1 Orlando with a Great Workout
Despite an NFL career that has taken him to Denver and now New York, Floridians still love former Gators quarterback Tim Tebow.
An estimated 300 people attended a special afternoon training session Sunday with Tebow to mark the opening of D1 Sports Training and Therapy's Lake Mary facility.
The company, which has 15 other locations primarily in the Southeast, is known for partnering with local sports-medicine groups and boasting celebrity co-owners, such as new Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and professional soccer player Heather Mitts.

D1 Columbus Athlete Trains to Play College Softball
Taylor Knore is a member at D1 Columbus, and has been training to play softball for Wright State University next year. Taylor has won the 1st Team All Central District, 1st Team all OCC Ohio Division, 2nd Team All Metro, All Ohio Division 1 Honorable Mention and has recently been nominated for a few more awards by her coach.
"I think it's really helped me have better balance in the batter's box, and I know I'm definitely feeling confident at the plate right now," says Knore.

D1 Tampa Josh Freeman Pro Workout
This past weekend D1 Tampa powered the Josh Freeman Pro Workout at Wesley Chapel High School. This event was free to all athletes between the ages of 15 - 23, and gave them an opportunity to train like a pro athlete. Congrats to all of the athletes who participated in this awesome event!

Tim Tebow and Chipper Jones Partner Up to Open D1 Orlando
"D1 in Tampa has done really well. Other D1s around the southeastern United States have done well. It's a chance for young kids to get some constructive exercise from professional athletes," said Chipper Jones.
Tim Tebow and Chipper Jones have never met before, but are excited to get together and open the new D1 facility in Orlando. The Tim Tebow experience is scheduled for June 24 at D1 Orlando for all members, and the grand opening will happen the next day. We can't wait for D1 Orlando to open!

D1 Greenville Athlete Completes the Assault on Mt. Mitchell
D1 member Pat Shirley completed the 102.7 mile race on Mt. Mitchell where he climbed over 10,357 feet. Pat said he had never participated in a race that was as long as this one, but his training at D1 helped him physically and mentally complete the race. He finished the race in a little over 9 hours and 30 minutes. Very impressive! Way to go Pat!

D1 Cincinnati and Pro Camps put together the Marvin Lewis Pro workout day at Paul Brown Stadium this past Monday June 4. This event was sponsored by the U.S. Army, and was free to all athletes that were between the ages of 15-23. Thanks for putting on such a great event!

D1 Member Trains to become a College Quarterback
Eddie Stockett is a quarterback at McKeesport High School, and he is starting to concentrate on what college recruits are looking for in a quarterback. Stockett has been training at D1 Pittsburgh to maintan and strengthen his skills so that he can play college football.
"Stockett has thrown for coaches from Duke, Rutgers, Pitt, Connecticut, Toledo and West Virginia in addition to the 20 or so FBS, FCS and Division II coaches who attended McKeesport’s college day May 16," says Jason Mackey.

D1 Abilene Opening on Monday
On Monday, June 4th, D1 Sports Training and Therapy will open their doors in Abilene, the first of its kind in Texas and 15th nationwide. D1 features a 15,000+ square-foot training space and an additional 10,000 square feet for D1 Sports Medicine partner Texas Sport & Spine.
Cowboys tight end Jason Witten,former Texas Longhorn and Bengals receiver Jordan Shipley and Abilene native and Colts long snapper Justin Snow are new co-owners of the D1 facility in Abilene. In addition, the Abilene D1 Training facility will be co-owned by a group of local investors and sports enthusiasts led by Dr. Dan Munton of Texas Sport & Spine.
