D1 Knoxville Athlete Ready to Play Volleyball at UT

Farragut High School's Kylann Scheidt, a senior who transferred from Nebraska two years ago, is the PrepXtra Player of the Year for the second time and will continue her career at the University of Tennessee. Scheidt helped the Lady Admirals to a 41-10 record this fall before their season ended with a loss at Kingsport Dobyns-Bennett in the state sectionals. Scheidt was selected to the 24-player Under Armour All-America first team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, and her goal is to eventually play in the Olympics.
