D1 Chattanooga's Stan King is Making a Name for Himself

Fighting a stomach virus, Stan King, eight years old, became an All-American wrestler when he placed at the Brute Adidas Wrestling Nationals in Kansas City, MO. He also won a silver medal at the State wrestling tournament. For the season, he won 67 matches and medaled in four different weight classes. He often wrestled older and bigger kids. He helped his team, The Wrestling Academy, to become repeat state champions. Stan also plays 10-U baseball and before leaving for Kansas City, he hit a walk-off home run to win the tournament game. He now plays on an All-Star team, bats clean up and is one of the fastest players on the team. Stan recently raised the Rookie (7-11 age group) push-up record to 95 push-ups.
