D1 Huntsville's April Character Athlete of the Month

Derek Marion is D1 Huntsville’s April Character Athlete of the Month. Derek attends Horizon Elementary, plays football and soccer and trains in D1's Rookie Program. He's an "A" student and recipient of the President's Physical Fitness Award at his school. D1’s April Word of the Month was FEARLESS. According to his D1 coaches, Derek consistently displays his FEARLESSNESS. For instance, there's never a drill or exercise Derek doesn't want to do. The tougher the drill, the more Derek wants to do it, all the while at full speed. He has consistently shown an eagerness to learn new drills and never back down. Congratulations Derek!
