US Soccer Team Member Hosts D1 Combine

D1 Huntsville hosted its first soccer combine with former United States National team defender Desmond Armstrong. After some tactical skills training, teams consisting of the Rocket City United NPSL team squared off with the Huntsville Soccer Club U15 State Championship team and Desmond’s Hero’s team from the Huntsville area. With coaches from universities like Duke, Virginia, and Maryland in attendance, these athletes were given the opportunity to perform in front of a highly reputable audience, in hopes of playing at the next level.
